Meet Norma Bentley, one of the newest members of the z•aa style team and of one our best ambassadors!
Norma - tell us a bit about how you got to St. Pete?
After successful careers in both retail sales as well as corporate sales in the pharmaceutical industry in Puerto Rico, I met my husband and me and my 2 boys moved to the US in Florida. It was there; I realized my entrepreneurial passion and launched several independent businesses, from fashion to a successful consignment retail business. As I followed my creative desires, I went back to school to pursue my certification as a Pastry Chef. I launched a successful online pastry business, Bentley Pastries & Cakes. 2018 brought a new turn in my in my life when we moved to St.Pete. Eventually, I came to z•aa and fell in love with the selections and styles. I have always had an extraordinary eye and feel for fashion and accessorizing. Being able to share my passion and helping other women realize their true fashion potential was my calling.
When you open your closet, what are the words someone would probably use to describe their first impression?
Wow! You must shop at z•aa!
On a typical weekend in St. Pete, what are favorite activities or hot spots?
Whether it’s walking through the downtown farmers market on an early Saturday morning, or taking in the extraordinary bread pudding desserts at The Lure Restaurant, we love the variety of the interesting sights and sounds of St.Pete. So many choices!
Any inspirational fashion Icons?
I love Carolina Herrera for her elegance and flare. As she so eloquently stated:
